Pottery Palooza is your invitation to spend a beautiful fall Saturday exploring the incredible talent of local potters—right in your own back yard. From cozy studio corners to vibrant gallery stops, each location will host 2–5 local ceramic artists ready to share their work, their process, and their passion with you.

Stop 1: Kristy Jo Beber Stoneware Pottery

Kristy Jo Beber
Kristy Jo Beber uses playful patterns, animals & elements from nature to adorn her wheel thrown pottery. Designs are painted free-hand and fired to over 2300 degrees in her gas kiln.

Deb Walterhouse
Deb Walterhouse creates both handbuilt and wheel-thrown pieces in stoneware and porcelain, inspired by nature and the sea. Alongside functional pottery, she makes clay jewelry and octopus sculptures, which are among her favorite works.

Schroeder Pottery
Matt Schroeder has been working with clay for over 15 years. His style blends an organic feel with a strong sense of symmetry, and he especially enjoys exploring how glazes complement and complete his pottery.

Nicole Capriglione
Nicole Capriglione explores form and function through bowls, mugs, and pitchers, creating simple, modern designs with bold yet calming colors. As an instructor at Fort Wayne Clay, she shares her passion for making pieces that bring both beauty and utility to everyday life.

Linden Tree Pottery
Camela Johnson is an artist and teacher who creates stoneware from her home studio. She shares her work at festivals throughout Indiana and surrounding states, bringing her love of clay to a wide community.

Kimberly Rorick
Kimberly Rorick has been a full-time clay artist since 1999. She hand builds each piece and hand paints her surfaces with underglaze, creating work that reflects her unique artistic voice.

Steve Vachon
Steve Vachon has been a working ceramic artist for over 40 years. He works with both raku and stoneware temperatures, creating wheel-thrown and slab-built sculptural clay vessels that reference ancient cultures and architectural elements.
