My name is Brittnee Anderson. I’ve been enjoying clay for at least 12 years. I started throwing in highschool, then took a hiatus for college. I found Nicole's studio, Capriglione Creations, in 2019.
I am a nurse and have worked in orthopedics for 5 years. I originally was going to go to school for art but life had other plans. Ceramics/throwing is a great de-stressor and allows me to be creative outside of the hospital.
I would consider myself an amateur potter but would love to have my own wheel one day. My friends and family love to receive my homemade gifts for holidays and birthdays.

Favorite tool: I love the Unfoot Tools by Garritty Tools. They are my favorite because I don’t like tooling feet.
Clay Used: I like using brown clay with some grog for larger pieces. It holds its structure well and I like how the glazes look on it. I use white clay when I am doing mason stains.
Style: Mason stain (marbling) is one of my favorite pottery techniques. I like to see how unique every piece is. The swirl of color! And I only have to use clear glaze instead of trying to choose a glaze combination. I also enjoy using underglaze transfers with a modern look.
